Hokkaido Japan Hemp
Hokkaido Japan Hemp: A Rare Hemp Variety
Almost all seedbanks today can showcase astonishing breeding projects—where landraces meet new genetics, and where backcross and inbreeding gift us with exciting, potent cultivars every year. Yet, sometimes, we come across something so unique and rare, that it must simply be preserved. And this is the case of Hokkaido Japan Hemp.
Aroma, Flavour and Effect of Hokkaido Japan Hemp: Slightly Inebriating and Very Flavourful
Japan has a rich and unique history with hemp and cannabis, yet it's not common to see many strains of either coming from the country. Hokkaido Japan Hemp isn’t unique simply for its nature or place of origin, but also the aroma and flavours that are not usually found elsewhere. While growing, the room or garden will smell distinctively of mountain spices and geranium, something very unusual in a cannabis plant.
Given that Hokkaido Japan Hemp is a strain of hemp, this plant won’t get you high. The effects are merely relaxing. It is a great source of CBD (2–12%) and CBN (up to 3%), while the THC is virtually non-existent.
Growing Hokkaido Japan Hemp: Experience The Resilience
Like any other hemp plant, the real proof is growing Hokkaido Japan Hemp. Resilience is the strongest trait. You can kiss goodbye to pests, moulds, and infections like botrytis and mildew. The flowering time is extremely fast, 6–8 weeks, almost as short as many autoflowering. It can be cultivated in almost any environment, although it might suffer from heat stress, so cooler temperatures are suggested. Similarly to autos, it’s advised to ease off the nutrients—a little goes a long way!
