RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IN TAIWAN

The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Taiwan.

Cannabis is an illegal substance in Taiwan and this law is being taken very serious by the local authorities. Getting caught with cannabis in Taiwan will most probably mean you will end up in jail.

We are not aware of any possible law changes in the (near) future in Taiwan regarding medical and/or recreational cannabis.
