RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IN TANZANIA

The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Tanzania.

Tanzania has a long history with using cannabis in food and medicine. However, possession of cannabis and any cannabis related activity is illegal and will be punished.

We are not aware of any possible law changes in the (near) future in Tanzania regarding medical and/or recreational cannabis.
